Disney review! :D

IIIIIIt's HOLIDAY REVIEW TIME :D the entry will be both huge and majorly picture heavy, so you have been warned.

No pictures for the first day or two (I lose track of how many days it's been when we started crossing time zones) because... well the first evening we just went to a hotel in manchester airport and the second was travelling and settling in. We set off on Monday evening to stay in the Hilton (EVERYTHING IN THERE IS POSH) because it cost about as much to park our car in the airport as it did for five of us to spend a night in the Hilton -and- park our car in the airport. So that was ace, because no crazy early morning on tuesday :D Me and Alex spent the night running around wearing the free dressing-gowns and free slippers and stealing the free mini sewing kit and marvelling at how freakin' huge the bathroom was. It was awesome :D

Second day we woke up and trudged over to the airport, where we raided WHSmith (has anyone ever left a British airport without going in smiths? it's not possible, I tell you.) and jumped on a plane. Which took NINE HOURS and I hate planes a lot. We wacthed He's just not that in to you (seen before, still adorable 8D), Coraline (Glad I didn't waste money at the cinema on it) and Night at the Museum 2 (Kinda wish I had wasted money on it). After welanded we died from the heat, as usual. Then spent ages sorting out cars and villas and by the time we were done with that there was a storm coming, which we realized after a few days was going to happen every day at about 4oclock. Holly and Alex were not impressed.

PICTURE TIME

Here's our pretty little kitchen. Outside the door is the pool, with a door that goes BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP every time you open it/leave it open for more than 30 seconds and you have to press a button to stop it. Mildly annoying |:

Dining room 8D

Living room+crazy family+Hol. There was a freakin' huge storm going over our house at this moment, so that explains the scared expressions and the pillow fort.

If I lived in america I would be fat because of these things and these things alone.

CSI Channel. it's called Spike and from Monday-thursday it pretty much just plays CSI all day.

"Sunny with a high of 94, low of 75 and scattered thunderstorms." Yeah, the weather doesn't change much there.

This is froggy. A few days in to the holiday he appeared on our doorframe. After a few days sitting up there we thought he must be stuck, so we got him down. The next day he was back, so it's obviously an awesome place to be a frog.

You can't tell in the picture, but this is the biggest fucking spider EVER. He also hung around for most of the holiday, but I liked him less than froggy.

I should have got a better picture of this 'cause you can't tell that the lawn is all dug up and completely wrecked. We thought racoons had attacked it, but according to the Gardeners it was ~~MOLES THE SIZE OF ELEPHANTS I TELL YOU~~ wild pigs.

BUT ANYWAY ON TO THE DISNEY SHIZ

On the first day (are we on Wednesday now?) we went to MAGIC KINGDOM :D Because of the magic. And you have to go there first. HAVE TO. Space mountain was closed which was gay, but we went on Peter Pan and Haunted Mansion and all the mountains that weren't closed and PIRATES and general rave. We went home at about 3ish because jet lag + trying to do all of MK in one day + storms and terrential rain made us give up.

There's everyone except me, looking very damp in front of the castle.

We went home and went to PUBLIX which is the best place ever. They still have the largest amount of Oreos I've ever seen in one place, including one of our sleepovers.

THURSDAY we went to ~~MGM~~ Hollywood Studios. We rushed to Rock 'n' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror first, which turned out to be a mistake because they had a new Toy Story ride. By the time we got there the queue was 90 mins. We had fast passes for R'n'R and you can't have two at once, so we used them (this was about 11:30am) and by the time we got back to Toy Story, they were giving out fast passes for 9:30pm. So it was a wee bit busy. We opted out.

That evening we went to see Fantasmic which is an AWESOME SHOW. I took approximately a million pictures, so I'm not posting them all up XD

The seating area, completely full, about an hour before the actual show. oh, and Holly's face.

I dub this the best picture ever (or possibly second, after the Shark Picture mark 2. Yes, there is another Shark Picture.)

Friday we went back to ~~MGM~~ Hollywood Studios, determinned this time to get on Toy Story. We got there as it opened and the queue was already 60 mins. So we figured what the hell and queued and let me tell you, it was worth it. It's a shooting game and 3D and interactive and AWESOME. And we got to go on it twice, because it didn't work the first time :DDD

This picture would be much funnier if you could see the giant claw dangling over our heads.

In the afternoon we headed to the mall. I want to live in the mall. Soooo many shops. Sooo many dinosaur tshirts. I came out of there with lik 6 tshirts and a jacket. I liked it 8D Hot Topic is omg geek heaven. but the highlight was THE M&M STORE. they had a wall of tubes of M&Ms in every colour imaginable. It was beautiful.

And I don't even like M&Ms

naturally, we bought one in every colour and made a rainbow.

Saturday was Seaworld. Manta was awesome. Shamu is cute. We saw a gay dolphin threesome.

I had a kinda meeeeeeeeh day today. Nothing actually happened, just got in a right state. Uni decisions are driving me crazy. I'm supposed to be sitting the entrance exams for Warwick but I'm getting like 20% on each one. And those are the easier papers. Basically, I'm fucked there. Unfortunately as soon as I mention giving up everyone assumes I'm either being lazy or not believing in myself. Sorry, I don't want to get my hopes up just to have them crushed on results day. I was really hoping I'd like Durham because it's like way up in the results tables and I only need AAB to get in... but I just didn't like it at all. I'm thinking York, but then I start feeling like I am lazy and that I'm just giving up. So all in all that isn't going well.

After spending all day getting increasingly hysterical over that I went driving and got every single thing wrong and ended up feeling like all the months of work were for nothing because I'm still making the same stupid mistakes as I did at the start.

... Yeah writing this is getting me more upset lmao XD I swear I'm not usually this emo. Things cheered up a lot this evening because we went to see school's production of High School Musical. It was awesooooooooooome 8D I'm still hyped now. I WANT TO GO SEE IT AGAIN.

Nothing much to update in terms of actual life D: Spend yesterday playing Spyro with Hol, Al and Zoe and suddenly got really sick and died on their floor. Except not I'm totally exaggerating. Expo was yesterday and it was SO GOOD. It just went by so fast, I miss it loads >: Definitely my favourite one yet. I got to meet Charl and she was sooo nice, it was great hanging around with her XD I can't wait until next time, but apparently it might not be until next February. So not cool.

Me and Alex got up at 6:30, a time that should not exist on a saturday morning. I got into Ron straight away and Alex just got her wig on because she can't travel as the angel XD Me, Alex and Holly went in our car (The cool car, obv)

We got in and got in to cosplay in the toilets. We got fast track tickets but by the time we were done getting there, painting Alex, meeting Rhi and getting Rhi's contacts in it was normal entry time anyway, haha XD We met Todd, Brett, James and other James driving in at the same time as them (and all leaning out of the window going HEEEEEEY GUYS HEY LOOK AT US WE'RE HERE AND NOT CRAZY AT ALL). Then we quickly met Beth and Rhi and raved 8D Oh and then realised that there was a big craft fair going on in the next hall. We got weird looks from old ladies.

I'm so proud of heeeer 8D After that we went and found Char (with great difficulty involving running repeatedly back and forth across expo hall lmao) and she joined us to rave for the day \o/ We decided to actually spend some time outside the main hall this time because it always seems to be more fun out there XD

EXPO TOMORROW 8D I'm well excited.

This last week has been craaazy. Saturday I went on a visit to Lancaster Uni and Brett, James and Beth were coming up so I was planning to have them over in the evening. This quickly turned into everyone coming over and raving until 1 in the morning playing twister, sega superstars and kerplunk lmfao XD Sunday we lazed about and did nothing, then Monday we went bowling. I got a strike and nearly won and then Holly overtook me that bich D< I was doing so well >>>>: And Alex used the excuse that she was doing so badly because she wanted to finish with 69 points... then actually managed to do just that. We lolled XD After that we spent a ridiculous amount of time on the dance machine and then went back to mine where we raved again.

Tuesday the people from down south were still up, so we went shopping 8D I didn't buy much because I'm saving for disney in the summer (this will all be forgotten when I find something shiny at expo) but I did find KING OF THORN 4 AFTER LIKE MONTHS OF SEARCHING so I was dead happy and read it and it was great :D We headed back to Holly's afterward and played Rayman M, which I am obv ace at. Except so are Holly and Lou and they beat me. Damn them D<

Wednesday was just York uni visit. I like it there, but uni visits are still boring D: Thursday Holly came round and we finish the Kim belt, so that's all our cosplays ready for tomorrow. I plan to take many pictures to document our day tomorrow, so expect picture heavy entry when I get back XD

Ok so first thing was Holly's birthday 8D Rhi came up on Friday and we all went to see Twilight (which was equally awesome the second time. lets go see it again plzzzzzz >: ) and then for pizza where we met no probs dude who gave us much pepsi and I loved him. We ended up being the last people there at like 11:30 and it was great.

Next day we went to Holly's for rave and everyone came up. We singstared and played mario games and ate cookie and nachos and TODD TALKED TO ME ALL NIGHT THE BASTARD he should not be allowed in awesome room. I wanted sleep damnit D< I want to play pushy penguins again now plz. Then next week is was Alex's birthday and we just hung around here and watched speed racer and played more video games.

This weekend was craaazy. Friday we went to Jo's for a very late end of exams party. We watched Disturbia again and played Disney Trivial pursuit LMAO. Putting me, Lou, Alex and Holly on a team made the game ridiculously short though XD Then Saturday we had HSM, which I love but there's only a few lessons left nooo >: Do not want it to end. Later Holly came round and we watched American Idol and played HSM singstar (Ok we officially play too much singstar) and watched the HSM concert DVD. DOWANTLUCAS <3 Sunday was Lou's party at lunch, we went to pizza hut and then to game where I got CHOCOBO'S DUNGEON which I've wanted for ages so I'm happy. SPONTANEOUS UPDATE TIME 8D

Omfg it snowed here yesterday. IT LIKE NEVER SNOWS HERE. We were sitting in the atrium and it was like raining loads and then these girls came in covered in white so I just assumed it was hail. Leaned over to look outside and OMFG IT'S TOTALLY BLIZZARDING OUT THERE. Me and Lou ran across to the shop over the road (blatant excuse to play in the snow) and we couldn't even see where we were going. I've never seen snowflakes that big! Well. Good news is that bloody oxford paper is over so now I actually have free time again to do things like this. Yesterday was Kayla's party which was awesome. We watched the Producers and omg I loved it. I must get the DVD. After that we played Jenga... for like an hour. On the first one we nearly got it to the point where there's physically no moves left so it was like TENSIOOOOOOOOON. I didn't lose be proud of me plz.

Right now I'm making Mine's maid dress from Fruits Basket. This cosplay wasn't actually planned at all- Mum found a black dress in a charity shop and was like Hey dya want it for cosplay. After she described it we realised it would be perfect for Mine. After a trip to Abakhan I started attacking it. Iiiiiiit's time fooooooooooooor~

EXPO REPORT 8D

So we started off waking up at like... 6 or something? I don't remember, I was in zombie mode at the time D: We got ready and I got my costume on, but Alex had to wait until we got there because her dress was painted and it would crack if she sat down XD We painted her arms before she left though, so she was wandering around with grey arms... mildly odd.

Once I was dressed I dived down the stairs... and coloured. Yeah, I was a little late on finishing my art competition entry. I did finish it though and I was dead proud 8D Everyone turned up slowly while I was drawing. Lou walked in with her huge Peach dress and we were just like wooooah because we hadn't seen any of the progress. Also her ass was poofy and hard to look away from. We piled in to cars (with extreme difficulty) and off we went! 8D

We got there around half an hour after it opened which was weird because we're usually near the front of the queue XD but that meant we just walked straight in. Well, after painting Holly white and Alex grey. We met Todd, James, Alex, Beth and everyone outside, before finding Selph half naked with a tatoo being painted on her back XD Ooh, and we met crystalneko 8D So nice to meet you, Fi!

When we went in I put my Vivi mask on straight away because the wig was driving me mad. THEN WE FOUND NICK. Nick is our bezzie and we love him 8D We chatted to him, then tagged him and ran away. Because we are fiends.

Honestly, most of the expo after that was blurry. I mean literally because I put my mask on and I couldn't see much except vague shapes. We barely looked at the shops (In fact, I think I only saw the back end of the hall once) and just... did stuff. I think most of it was spent having my photo taken. I've never been a popular character before! It was well weird to go from Shalua and Ringo to this XD We sat around and drew inside, then sat around and had fanta outside, then came back in and sat around there some more. In between all this we ran into Kellyjane, Tealpirate, One-sky-one-destiny and flames-of-monki who were awesome people 8D Their Guitar Hero cosplays were fantastic. They squeed when Holly said she was Mungojerrie, which amused us all greatly XD

After more sitting around, we headed off to the masquerade. Me and Lou talked to some awesome people in the queue. They held on to my hat when I had to rearrange my face :3 I think I had the funniest moment then...

Dude: Can you see out of that?
Me: Yeah, kinda.
Dude: OMFG YOU'RE A GIRL!
Me: ... yeeees.

We went up on the stage and I was like noooo scary >: My music didn't work as well, so I got up to the front and was like ... what do I do now? But everyone cheered really loudly for me and it came on just after that, so I was dead happy 8D I posed and then fled pretty quickly XD Ah, and Chip called me Crazedteeny! I was sad >:

... Once again, memory blur. Expo closed quite quickly after that, didn't it? We said bye to Nick and tagged him again, then went outside to say bye to everyone who was leaving. The rest of us had to hang around because parents weren't there yet and the International Centre chucked us out. We took lots of awesome pictures while we had the chance 8D

Lmao. Right, so we were hungry on the way home. We wanted pizza but we didn't know where to get one so we ended up stopping at the little chef. Little Chef staff... looked at us oddly. We were all half-costumed, so Alex had grey body paint, Holly had huge pants and a tail, etc etc. Luckily we were the only ones in there so there was no one else to be scared XD

and that brings us to the end of expo day. It seemed so short! >: I want to go back. Dya think we'll get a February?

In other news, I had my first driving lesson Saturday morning 8D I was dead nervous but actually it was really really fun. I wont remember anything by next week like XD OOH AND I DIDN'T RUN OVER JOHN BARROWMAN be proud of me :3

Strictly's finally started again. Once again, I don't know most of the contestants but I'll learn to love them by the end XD THE PRESIDENT IS IN IT OMG :3 /doctorwhogeekery. We watched Merlin as well. Eve Myles was well good in it but my rule is that no show with a talking dragon can possibly be good. I don't know whether I'll bother watching next week >:

I was gonna post up an entry before the LHC and rant about how we weren't gonna die and the media hype was just stupid nonsense, and it wouldn't matter because if I was wrong we'd all be dead 8D But it looks like, surprise surprise, scientists know what they're doing.

Alright, so I haven't actually updated all summer. There is a perfectly good explanation behind that, which is that I haven't had a second of free time. "It's a holiday!" You say? "SCREW YOU" I say. Every second I wasn't out or having everyone over I was writing my person statement, doing homework (Yes, in the summer holidays) or sewing like a mad woman. Which is what I should be doing right now, but I need a break XD

So basically I'm writing about anything I can remember that's happened. WITH CONVENIENT TITLES WOOHOO 8D

Movies
Ok, first movie I saw this holiday was Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Everyone was either away or had already seen it, so it was just me, Alex and Adam. We went to Vue with it's comfy seats and saw it in 3D. It was awesome, but I know I probably wouldn't have liked it if it hadn't been Brendan Fraser. Plus 3D makes me feel ill XD BREDAN FRASER CRIED so I did too shut up it was dead sad.

The day that we got back from holiday, we went to see The Mummy. Now, we'd been hyped up about this for ages because we're obsessed with the first two. But this... I hated. I didn't think the plot was that good, and the mummy wasn't as cool, but more than anything...

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO EVIE?

Yeah, I didn't like new Evie. That bit at the start where she's like "I'm a completely different person" has us desperately trying to figure out who this new character was and why she had taken Evie's place, only to figure out that it was just a new actress who was supposed to be Evie. Despite not being anything like her. And this just meant that every good scene in the movie was ruined because she would open her mouth and URGH Yeah I didn't like it.

After that I don't think I saw anything else until Dark Knight. Not that much to say here because everyone else has said everything that needs to be said about this film. Heath Ledger was a cool Joker but actually, I prefer the old one. I dunno why, there's just something about the new Joker that I don't like. I laughed at two-face because I'm heartless I'M SORRY HE LOOKED STUPID I couldn't help it.

Birthday
Birthday was win! I actually ended up having two sleepovers, since Rhi, Zoe and Alistair could only make it and one time and the people from the south could only make it at another. They were both fantastic and I'm so happy everyone could make it! 8D I got loads of fantastic presents, including an Ipod. I was like WHAT because I wasn't supposed to be getting a big present (driving lessons are expensive). Turns out dad won it in a competition and had no use for it so he gave it to me and Alex. I spent several days going WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE with the wheel. I like it a lot :3

Cosplay
This is what has been taking up all my time, and I don't know why because I haven't even got that much done. Vivi's coat is completely finished, now I'm just sewing stripes on to the pants. Mum gave me some shoes and some gloves and I bought the belt, so everythings pretty much sorted now 8D I've been helping Holly with Freya so that she can get that done in time for Midlands. We might actually both finish at this rate XD

Alex's Weeping Angel is going well too. Her wings are fantastic and win so yeah they're sorted. Her dress did kinda look like a potato sack though, so we painted it to make it all stone-effecty 8D The wig's still a little fail so we might actually just go to the fancy dress shop and see if we can get anything better XD

And on that note, it's back to sewing for me XD

- The way that my friends can make me happy just by being near.

- Holly, for being the best friend I've ever had or could ever wish for.

- Holly hugs, which are the best thing ever.

- The way that I can have a conversation with one of my friends that would make no sense to the outside world but seems perfectly sensible to us.

- How easily Alex can make me laugh hysterically.

- The way that my dad still acts like he's three years old and insists that we all do to, and the fact that he manages this after working from early in the morning until dead late in the evening.

- The way that dad is willing to sit up until the wee hours of the morning teaching me how to play backgammon.

- The way that mum always tries to help.

- The fact that mum puts up with all 8 of us practically living at our house.

- The way that mum swears she wont help with my cosplay but always ends up doing just that XD

- The way that Zoe mothers us all.

- The way that Al didn't run away screaming when he first met Calex (dude I would) and is always so nice and cuddly.

- The way that Kayla is always trying to make everyone else happy.

- The way that Lou is always so cheery and friendly.

- The way that Adam can make me giggle like a little girl.

- The way that I've never heard Jamesy talk but he's still one of my closest friends XD

- The awesome raves we have with Rhi when she comes up 8D

- The way that I can have so much fun at the big sleepovers with Selph, Alex, Beth, Todd and all the others.

- Alex and Holly spending hours on taking my cosplay pictures.

- The way that Holly must waste so much of her money just replying to all my texts.

- The fact that my family is just as mad as I am.

Wall-e can be described in one word, and that word is

DAWWWWWWWWW

We ended up all arranging last-minute to go see it (Adam had to invent a time machine just to get there in time) and I thought it looked good but zomg. It's a real disney/pixar classic. Every five minutes the cinema was just filled with DAWWWWWWWWWWW from everyone, evening the manly guys sitting behind us. I'm serious. Cutest thing ever. If you haven't seen it yet do so. This second.

High School Musical is awesome as ever. We want shirts with "VJ" on the front. In sequins. Anyway, we get to be cheerleaders DO WANT *Hayden face* I want to get the official HSM pom poms and yeah >: God I'm sad.

Saturday was shopping day. We seem to have found shops we like spanning the entirety of shopping!Liverpool so we're like Central, Liverpool One, China Town and DUDE it's a treck. I'm lazy soz >: My legs always die when we're done. We bought the entirety of the sweet section in the Chinese Supermarket again and then discovered this drink that tastes like the juice you get at the bottom of an orange calippo. SO NICE. We bought one bottle and we'd finished it before we reached the other supermarket so we went in there and bought three more bottles for the way home. Other than that I got myself a new HSM bag, shoes and underwear that says "Keep to the Beat" on it. Nothing to do with Demyx geekery. Nothing at all.

After that Lou had to come home >: The rest of us died on the sofas at my house and watched Bridget Jones. We always watch chick flicks. Poor guys XD Then we watched Doctor Who and there was much awesome 8D

School is nearly oveeer 8D I don't know why we're in anymore because we're not actually doing anything and yeah fail. I just want to be freeeeee >:
